About Neighbourhood Legal Services London and Middlesex
Neighbourhood Legal Services London and Middlesex is a non‑profit community legal clinic located at 717 Richmond Street in London, Ontario. Funded by the Government of Ontario, NLSLM delivers traditional poverty‑law services to low‑income residents of London and Middlesex County. The clinic offers free or low‑cost legal advice, referrals and, when needed, representation across a wide range of issues—including tenant rights, workers’ rights, Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), Ontario Works, the Canada Pension Plan, criminal injuries compensation, and affidavits and notary services. In addition to direct legal assistance, Neighbourhood Legal Services provides public legal education, community‑development programs and law‑reform advocacy, helping clients navigate employment standards, the Employment Insurance Act, and other provincial statutes. With a dedicated staff, board of directors, and a network of student volunteers, the clinic is deeply embedded in the local community, offering resources such as COVID‑19 housing and employment guidance, bed‑bug and infestation information, and support for elections and student initiatives. Whether you need help protecting your tenancy, understanding your employment rights, or accessing government benefits, Neighbourhood Legal Services London and Middlesex offers knowledgeable, compassionate support tailored to the needs of the neighbourhood.
